Submersible Mixer – Anaerobic Pond

Principal Use:
Anaerobic pond in the POME treatment can be boosted with the presence of continuous homegenization or mixing significantly.

The purpose of the mixing:
(a) To allow the maximum reaction of BOD with the anaerobic bacteria.
(b) To release the presence of localized build-up poisonous gas, which will kill off the bacteria.
(c) To increase the effective retention time of lagoon by avoiding short-circuiting of hydraulic flow across the lagoon.
(d) Effectively prevent the formation of surface hard scum layer.

With the installation of submersible mixer, significant lagoon performance is assured, BOD reduction is increased.
